Other Organs: Farfisa, Vox and other brands that made history
In the ‘60s production started of the so-called “Combo-Organs”, whose popularity exploded  in the ‘70s. These organs are smaller and solely powered by transistors.

Ray Manzarek, member of the historical band The Doors, gave popularity to the Vox Super Continental. Later was the turn of Pink Floyd, whose keyboard player Richard Wright brought popularity to the Farfisa Compact Duo. At that time many manufacturers entered the market of Combo-Organs, notably Gem, CRB and Elka.
